The Newton Eagles fall to Cameron 39-22 in Semi-Finals on Friday
The Newton Eagles struggled with penalties and missed opportunities to open the door Cameron Yoe, after taking an early 22-8 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Cameron Yoe took the lead back just before the half with a 45 yard field goal to lead 25-22.
The score did not change in the third as both defenses proved tough, but in the fourth, the Yoeman used a passing attack to open up the scoring, to go up by 10 until end of the game when a long well placed pass once again found its mark and pushed the game out of reach with little time left.
Congratulations on a spectacular year to the Newton Eagles and their coaches and fans.
